In the emotional, music video for βLet Somebody Go,β released moments ago (2.07,) Selena GomezΒ and Chris Martin prove how painful it is to say ‘goodbye.’
The black-and-white clip opens with lovers Gomez and Martin embracing in a final hug on a busy New York City street as the Coldplay frontman sing the tear-jerking lyrics into the camera as a tear falls from Gomezβ cheek. The two float away from each other, channeling a visual metaphor of what it feels like to let somebody go as Gomez sings βAll the storms we weathered/Everything that we went through/Now without you, what on earth am I to do?”
βLet Somebody Goβ is the third single from Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres, released in October, with βHigher Powerβ (nominated for best pop duo/group performance at the 2022 Grammys) and βMy Universeβ with BTS serving as the LPβs first two singles.
βLet Somebody Goesβ follows Gomezβs Spanish collaboration with Latin star Camilo on β999,β βSelfish Loveβ with DJ Snake, and her Grammy-nominated Spanish EP RevelaciΓ³n.
