Amidst a four-night run at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas that launched on May 23 that’s guesstimated to draw some 250,000 global fans, BTS has expanded their sold-out stadium tour into a massive, citywide festival.
Performing in-the-round on a 360-degree stage, the KPOP sensations opened with “Hooligan,” alongside nostalgic performances of “Permission to Dance” and “Go Go” that recalled the group’s famous 2022 Nevada shows. The night’s highlight came during “Body to Body,” when thousands of fans joined in to sing the traditional folk song “Arirang.”
Through an immersive “urban concert playpark,” the May 20 thru 31 concert experience expands beyond the venue, as the citywide takeover integrates lodging, dining, retail, and interactive entertainment, turning Sin City itself into a multi-sensory playground that brings the super group’s narrative to life.
For one hour each night following the concerts, in a collaboration with local tourism officials, the Las Vegas Strip is being illuminated in the tour’s signature red hue, and utilizing its massive digital exosphere to display larger-than-life themed visuals, the monumental Sphere is also participating in the celebration.
Courtesy of curated partnerships, the festivities extend throughout the entire city with a major resort on the Strip hosting a celebratory fireworks display, while premier local nightlife venues are throwing official post-concert after-parties. And with a dedicated monorail wrapped in the tour’s signature artwork, local transportation has been transformed.
BTS fans can explore a digital art exhibition featuring media pieces synchronized to the group’s music, purchase exclusive merchandise at a central pop-up shop, and enjoy themed menus at ten different dining partners. Official digital maps and complete schedules for the event have been made available to the public online.
