Oasis Drop ‘Morning Glory’ Unplugged: Look + Listen

Addressing a fresh take on one of their most iconic tracks Oasis drops ‘Morning Glory (Unplugged),’ accompanied by a visualizer that offers a glimpse into the refreshed sonic landscape.

Included in their forthcoming (What’s The Story) Morning Glory? (30th Anniversary Deluxe Edition), the stripped-down version of the iconic LP is included in the special collection that features acoustic renditions of five fan favorites – including ‘Morning Glory,’ ‘Cast No Shadow,’ Wonderwall,’ ‘Champagne Supernova,’ and the previously released ‘Acquiesce.’

Produced and mixed by Noel Gallagher and Callum Marinho. the unplugged tracks utilized the original master recordings at Noel’s Lone Star Sound studio in London.

Arriving 14 months after the band’s Definitely Maybe, (What’s The Story) Morning Glory? was originally released in 1995 and what’s since become British rock cornerstone cemented Oasis as global icons who delivered such timeless anthems as ‘Wonderwall,’ ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger,’ and ‘Champagne Supernova.’ Celebrating 22,000,000 copies sold worldwide – including 6,000,000 in the US alone – the collection stands as the UK’s third best-selling studio album of all time with National Album Day naming it the Official Most Streamed Album of the ’90s, with Definitely Maybe taking second place.

After seven sold-out nights at Wembley Stadium, with their final two UK shows on Saturday (9.27) and Sunday (9.28), the tour heads to South Korea, Japan, Australia, Argentina, Chile, and Brazil.

Now available for pre-order, (What’s The Story) Morning Glory? (30th Anniversary Deluxe Edition) is scheduled to arrive on October 3, via Big Brother Recordings.
