Executive produced by Eminem, the SXSW London critically acclaimed documentary STANS, is slated for a worldwide cinematic release exclusively at AMC Theaters in the U.S. and in cinemas globally through Trafalgar Releasing from Thursday, August 7, through August 10, 2025.
In the United States AMC Theaters Distribution will show the movie at 135+ locations, offering at least two showtimes daily during its limited run. Internationally, Trafalgar Releasing will bring the film to over 1,600+ theaters across more than 50 territories.
The unconventional and fully authorized film – named after Eminem’s iconic 2000 song “Stan,” which gave rise to the term “stan” now officially recognized by the Oxford English Dictionary – features a raw, moving, and often humorous look into Eminemβs legendary career through the eyes of his most devoted fans.
Directed by Steven Leckart, STANS dives deep into the emotional and transformative connection between the notoriously private artist (born Marshall Mathers) and his ΓΌber-fans whose lives have been dramatically effected by his music. Through stylized recreations, rare archival footage, and intimate original interviews, the documentary presents a revealing portrait of Eminem’s journey and the passionate audience that has grown with him over decades.
Featuring music included in film’s narrative, STANS: THE OFFICIAL SOUNDTRACK will include previously unreleased tracks, and pre-orders are live now in the U.S.
Full international screening details will be available on stansmovie.com from Thursday, July 24 at 2 PM BST.
