Snoop Dogg is going to be a grandfather again.
In an interview for E! News published on Monday, the rapper’s only daughter, Cori Broadus, announced that she is expecting a baby with her fiancé Wayne Duece.
“I found out October 28,” she told the outlet. “This baby is so unplanned, but we are so blessed.”
Cori went on to reveal that she is having a girl.
“I’m just excited to love on my baby girl and make her feel like she’s the prettiest in the world,” the 25-year-old continued. “Growing up, I wasn’t the most confident and never felt like I fit in, so just to instil all the beautiful things in her head at a young age. And I’m having a mini-me. Wayne said he’s excited to have someone that looks like me.”
Elsewhere in the conversation, Cori explained that she is considered to be having a “high-risk” pregnancy due to previously diagnosed health conditions, including the autoimmune disease lupus.
“Doctors were very concerned for me and the baby but God has his hands on me, and me and the baby are doing perfectly fine,” she said, adding that Snoop – real name Calvin Broadus Jr. – and her mother Shante Broadus are thrilled. “My mom and dad were so excited, their baby girl is having a baby.”
Cori and Wayne had been set to wed earlier this year, however, they decided to postpone the nuptials after the entrepreneur suffered a stroke in January.
The lead-up to their big day was documented in the E! docuseries, Snoop’s Fatherhood: Cori and Wayne’s Story.
The new addition will be Snoop and Shante’s seventh grandchild.
