Karol G, Bad Bunny, Peso Pluma Win Big At Billboard Latin Awards

Taking home eight trophies – including Global 200 Latin Artist of the Year and Tour of the Year – Karol G was the big winner at the 2024 Billboard Latin Music Awards.

Among her octet collection of trophies, the superstar Latina (born Carolina Giraldo Navarro,) ‘Qlona’ with Peso Pluma, won the awards for Hot Latin Song of the Year and Streaming Song of the Year, though neither of the musicians were present at the ceremony.

One of the night’s second biggest winners was Bad Bunny, who was presented with six trophies including Artist of the Year, alongside his album Nadie Sabe lo que Va a Pasar Mañana that was named Top Latin Album of the Year.

Peso Pluma was the other second biggest winner six awards including Songwriter of the Year. 

After Xavi won the coveted award for Artist of the Year, New the young Mexican musician gave a over-gracious acceptance speech, stating:

“I can’t believe it.” “I really was super excited just to be chosen, and I’m super grateful to everyone who supported us and believed in us from the beginning. I’m getting sentimental, compadre, but really, thanks to all of you.”

Artist of the Year – Bad Bunny

New Artist of the Year – Xavi 

Tour of the Year – Karol G

Crossover Artist of the Year – ATL Jacob

Spirit of Hope Award – J Balvin 

Hall of Fame Award – Pepe Aguilar 

Lifetime Achievement Award – Alejandro Sanz
