On Monday (9.30) Britney Spears took to Instagram sharing a now-deleted video at which time she recalled an incident that occurred around six months ago when she singed the hair off her face amid a “really dangerous” fireplace malfunction.
Adopting a British accent the embattled pop start said:
“I was in my room and I turned the fire on and, all of a sudden, it blew up in my face.” “It’s done it before, and the times it’s done it before, I quit so I always get my security to come in and light it for me because I was scared it was going to blow up.”c”But this time, I just threw the whole thing in there and it blew into my face and took all my eyelashes off and my eyebrows. And see this baby hair? These baby bangs? This is from six months ago.” “It fizzled all my hair. The person I was with would not wake up and I thought I’d have to go to the emergency room because my face was on fire.”
Now 42-years-old, Spears was in a lot of pain for six or seven hours after the accident and then opted to take some medication and go to bed instead of seeking medical attention. Something she explained is “a really, really big deal for me,” Britney took three Tylenol (paracetamol) pills.
Assuring her fans that’s she’s now fine, the musician ended the post with “All is good now. It happens.”
Not the first time the superstar has had an incident with fire, in April of 2020, Britney Spears confirmed that she had accidentally burned down her home gym as a result of leaving lit candles unattended.
