During one of the most talked about nuptials of 2025,, Usher performed at Lauren Sanchez and Jeff Bezos‘ wedding party.
While the actual ceremony took place on Saturday (6.28,) the “main celebration” for the extravagant affair took place “on a small island” outside of Venice.
According to a reliable source, “They had the ceremony yesterday and, of course, celebrated afterwards, but tonight is the main affair where everyone’s really letting loose.” “This is when the party will really kick off.”
Though it had been reported that the high profile couple had already been officially married before they arrived in Italy, the 61-year old founder of Amazon founder, and 55-year old former news anchor said their vows on Friday (6.27) in Venice in front of a star-studded guest list including the likes of Orlando Bloom, Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Sydney Sweeney and Oprah Winfrey. And it is believed that Andrea Bocelli’s son, Matteo Bocelli, performed during the ceremony procession.
Donning a custom-made Dolce & Gabbana gown, finished with 180 hand-finished silk buttons, in an interview with Vogue during her final dress fitting, Sanchez said “I feel like a princess.” “We don’t have a lot of traditions that we’re keeping. I mean, I love traditions, but for a 55-year-old woman, it’s a little different.”
In addition to carrying something old and something new, the bride to be brought along something blue with her on the big day, adding:
“My ‘something blue’ is something from my space flight (Blue Origin) because it was literally one of the most profound experiences I’ve ever had in my life.” “Seeing Earth from space, I came down and I couldn’t describe it. It was the greatest experience I’ve ever had. Jeff said, ‘It’s gonna change you more than you think,’ and it completely has, visually, spiritually.”
