Having tied the knot on February 11, 2024 in Las Vegas following his Super Bowl halftime show, Usher is celebrating two years of marriage to Jennifer Goicoechea.
Taking to social media on Wednesday (2.11,) the superstar singer/songwriter marked his second wedding anniversary on Instagram by sharing nine photos from the couple’s big day, on which the pair were joined by their combined four children, alongside a heartfelt tribute to his spouse “Soft as cotton, strong in the weave. Here’s to the life we’re building thread by thread.” “Happy 2nd Anniversary, my love.”
In 2020, Usher and Goicoechea welcomed their first child together, daughter Sovereign, followed by their son, Sire, in 2021. Usher also shares two sons with his ex-wife, Tameka Foster.
In an interview with People magazine a few days prior to the wedding, Usher raved about Goicoechea, saying:
“Listen, when you find someone that you know is a great partner, of course it is an honour and a pleasure to be able to share life with someone who wants to share it with you and loves you, who you are.” “We’ve obviously made a commitment to life for life together because of our children.” “And we’re going to be in each other’s lives until we die, obviously, because we have something to share. That’s beautiful. Our children. But not because of that. I really do feel like I have an amazing partner that I respect.”
