Recuperating from a fractured shoulder that will “require recovery time,” Stevie Nicks has rescheduled her upcoming tour dates.
Originally slated to launch this month, the now 77-year-old singer/songwriter’ American concert dates have been pushed back, with her Instagram account posting:
“Due to a recent injury resulting in a fractured shoulder that will require recovery time, Stevie Nicks‘ scheduled concerts in August and September will be rescheduled. Please note that October dates will be unaffected. Stevie looks forward to seeing everyone soon and apologizes to the fans for this inconvenience (sic).”
In related Nicks’ news, it was recently confirmed that Buckingham Nicks, the only studio LP by Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie as a duo, is being reissued for the very first first time.
Unavailable for decades, the original September 1973 recording at Sound City Studios in Los Angeles, has since been sourced from the original master tapes for its highly anticipated return in vinyl and hi-res digital file format for its CD and digital release.
Released the year before Stevie and Lindsey joined Fleetwood Mac, the LP was not a commercial success at the time though it ultimately led to drummer Mick Fleetwood inviting the duo to join the legendary rock band.
Since the guitarist was axed from the group once again in 2018 under acrimonious circumstances, Buckingham and Nicks have not been on good terms, but Mick previously confirmed his interest in Stevie and Lindsey to put their differences aside.
