Shania Twain Promises Her Best Album Yet

Later this year, Shania Twain, “The ‘Man! I Feel Like a Woman” singer promises to deliver “the best album” she’s “ever made” and she wants her fans to be proud of her career.

“When is my new album coming out?” she was asked on the newest edition of her Apple Music Hits show, “Home Now Radio.” “It’s really tough to declare an album done and ready. I’m not delaying, but COVID has caused some scheduling challenges because it’s been tough to get producers and musicians together in the same room. So I’ve been putting in a lot of effort. As a Shania fan, I want to give you something that you can be proud of. I want you to join me in celebrating, and I’m determined to produce the finest record I’ve ever made.”

Now 55, the country music legend then asked her fans to be “patient” while they awaited the new songs, despite her insistence that the album will be available before Christmas. “So please be patient,” she urged. I want it to be well worth the wait. This is a celebratory record, and my intention is to distribute it… Okay, that’s it. When it comes to commitment, it’s a no-brainer. Okay, that’s it. No, I intend to release this album before the holidays. Isn’t it wonderful to have this out for the holidays? That would be fantastic. So that is my objective.”

Shania also talked about her adolescent years spent going to rock concerts and praising Van Halen. “When I was a teenager, I mostly went to rock shows,” she explained. “One of my favorite bands was Van Halen. David Lee Roth’s agility, his kicks. I felt envious of her. ‘What?’ I think to myself. This guy is an incredible athlete, but he’s so much more. He’s really quick and can do the splits.’ And, furthermore, I’m a sucker for showmanship, and I’m a sucker for hair. And rock band members have nicer hair than the majority of us females. This is always the case. What’s the deal with that?”
