Shakira Shatters Euro Ticket Sales

Selling over 500,000+ tickets in record time for her upcoming European residency, Shakira has made history.

Establishing the run as Europe’s biggest residency of 2026, it took fans a matter of hours to buy every available seat, and to meet this unprecedented demand, the Colombian superstar added two final dates on October 10 and 11, bringing the total celebration to eleven nights this fall.

Taking place at the Shakira Stadium, a bespoke, large-scale temporary venue integrated into Iberdrola Music and produced by Live Nation Spain, the residency introduces an international format never before seen in the country. Accommodating 50,000+ fans per night, featuring cutting-edge acoustics and 360-degree visibility to ensure every guest feels the “language of the rhythm,” the immersive space will be designed by the world-renowned architecture firm BIG (Bjarke Ingels Group),

Envisioned as an ephemeral city within Madrid, under the curation of Shakira herself, the site will host Es Latina, a vibrant cultural festival. This “transnational community” will come alive through art exhibitions and literary workshops, curated gastronomy and film screenings, and talks celebrating Latin resilience and creativity

The milestone follows a historic spring for the artist born Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll, who drew 400,000 fans to a free concert on March 1 in Mexico City’s Zócalo —the largest crowd in the square’s history. These achievements solidify the Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour as the highest-grossing tour ever by a Hispanic artist.

Before arriving in Spain, Shakira will headline the legendary Todo Mundo No Rio concert at Copacabana Beach on May 2. From her Rock & Roll Hall of Fame nomination to her recent GRAMMY® win for Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran, Shakira continues to prove that her music is a testament to strength and global unity.
