After being shot near a casino in Hollywood, Florida on Monday night (4.06,) Offset has been hospitalized at Memorial Regional Hospital where he was being treated for a gunshot wound.
According to TMZ, the former Migos rapper (born Kiari Kendrell Cephus) was injured while standing close to the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.
About the incident, a representative for the musician said “We can confirm Offset was shot and is currently at the hospital receiving medical care.” “He is stable and being closely monitored.”
A short time later, officials from the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office announced that they had detained two individuals in connection with the shooting, adding:
“We are aware of an incident that occurred at a valet area after 7 p.m. Monday outside of Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood that resulted in non-life-threatening injuries to an individual who was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood.” “Seminole Police were on site immediately and the situation was contained quickly. Two individuals have been detained by police. The investigation is ongoing. The site is secure and there is no threat to the public. Operations continue as normal.”
In addition to fathering three children from previous relationships, Offset shares three children with estranged wife Cardi B who filed for divorce from Offset in July 2024.
In November of 2022.Offset’s Migos bandmate, Takeoff, was shot and killed in Houston, Texas.
