After allegedly throwing a chair off the roof of a bar in Nashville on Sunday (4.07,) country musician Morgan Wallen was arrested and charged with reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct.
Now 30 years old, the superstar singer/songwriter was taken into custody after tossing the chair off the roof of off the six-story Chief’s bar at 10:45 pm
According to the arrest report obtained by local media, the furniture hit the ground several feet from two officers with the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department.
According to NewsChannel 5 Nashville, staff members at Chief’s told police that Wallen was responsible for throwing the chair, confirmed by officers who viewed a video that showed him “lunging and throwing an object over the roof”,
The multi-million record selling musician was charged with one count of disorderly conduct and three counts of reckless endangerment for the two cops outside the bar and for being a danger to the public.
According to Morgan’s lawyer, Worrick Robinson confirmed the news in a statement, saying, “At 10:53pm Sunday evening Morgan Wallen was arrested in downtown Nashville for reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct. He is cooperating fully with authorities.”
Wallen was released from Davidson County jail around 3.30am on Monday (4.08,) after posting a $15,250.00 bond and the celebrity is expected to appear in court on May 3.
Not Wallen’s first encounter with the law, Morgan was arrested on intoxication and disorderly conduct charges in Nashville in May 2020.
