Adding to the already stacked lineup of talent throughout the day, the NFL just announced that Miley Cyrus will headline their TikTok Tailgate at Super Bowl LV in Tampa Bay, Florida on February 7th.
As is customary during football competitions, there will be pregame festivities and this time it will be an on-site hospitality event exclusively for the 7,500 vaccinated health care workers invited by the NFL to attend the game. This much appreciated and select group will make up one third of the total number of live Super Bowl’s attendees.
Fans watching from home in the United States and Canada can tune into @NFL on TikTok for access to two hours of live, exclusive pregame content. Additionally, the Tailgate will feature special guests from the NFL, TikTok creators, surprise musical performances, game-day cooking segments, and much more. For those interested in watching, the virtual experience will be streamed in full via @NFL on TikTok starting at 2:30PM ET/ 11:30 AM PT, and portions of Cyrus’ performance will be televised in the CBS Super Bowl LV Pregame Show.
Country star Eric Church and R&B singer Jazmine Sullivan were previously announced to sing the National Anthem while Grammy-winning R&B artist H.E.R. will perform “America the Beautiful.” The Weeknd will be the main musical act during the Half Time show.
