Maroon 5’s ‘One More Night’ Surpasses 1 Billion YouTube Views: Look + Listen

On Wednesday (11.02.) YouTube announced that the video for “One More Night” by Maroon 5 has entered the Billion Views Club.

In the 2012 video, the pop rock band’s lead singer Adam Levine is split between two scenarios – one with him training at a boxing facility before facing an opponent for a match, and another of him juggling family life with a partner and their baby girl. After emerging triumphant in the ring, Levine comes home to an empty house but for a few family photos and a trophy as the mother of his daughter is nowhere to be found.

According to YouTube, “One More Night” is Maroon 5’s third video to recognize the one billion views milestone after “Sugar” and “Girls Like You.”

In a collaborative Instagram post with Universal Music Enterprises including a behind-the-scenes video from “One More Night” of Levine in hair and makeup, Maroon 5 shared its excitement writing “One More Night” hit 1 BILLION views on YouTube in ten years!! Third @maroon5 track to reach this milestone, we can’t believe it.”

In addition to being Maroon 5’s third video to hit 1,000,000,000 views, “One More Night” was also the band’s third Billboard Hot 100 #1 single – following “Makes Me Wonder” (2007) and “Moves Like Jagger” featuring Christina Aguilera (2011) – spending 42 weeks on the Hot 100, including nine weeks in the #1 position.
