Live Nation Gears Up To Offer Live-Streamed Concerts

Concurrent with corporate America’s realization that remote employment may very well endure beyond the pandemic, the music industry has recognized that live streamed concerts are here to stay. In order to cash in on this newfound opportunity, emerging live stream platform Veeps, founded by former pop-punk rockers Joel and Benji Madden of Good Charlotte, has partnered with Live Nation to retrofit 60+ venues for this purpose.

Kicking off the initiative, The Wiltern in Los Angeles will be the first venue will launch its own live stream series as part of the joint venture and n preparation for its digital concert series – featuring performances by Young Thug, LANY, Freddie Gibbs – tickets are available here. Other confirmed venues involved with the Live Nation / Veeps alliance include The Fillmore (in San Francisco and Philadelphia,) the Chicago and New Orleans’ House of Blues, the Bay Area’s Shoreline Amphitheater, and Washington’s famed Gorge Amphitheater.
