Now 37-years of age, Joss Stone confirmed that she and her 34-year-old husband Cody DaLuz have adopted a baby boy.
On Tuesday (12.03,) the superstar singer/songwriter took to Instagram announcing that on November 25, she and Cody adopted a baby boy named Bear.
Including footage of her meeting the baby for the first time at the hospital, in her post, the musician (born Joscelyn Stoker) shared the emotional video of the phone call when she found out she could take the newborn home, with the caption:
“Happy mummy Mondays . This is what happened to us last Monday.” “We can not quite believe it. We are in love big time with this little guy.” “The reason why Cody even exists is because his bio mum loved him enough to make an adoption plan for him and the same goes for Bear.” “Honestly bio mothers do not get the gratitude they deserve. It is a more selfless love than I knew existed. Truly.” “And please welcome our gorgeous baby boy to this wonderful world.”
The UK-born chanteuse went on to say that her spouse Cody was also adopted, and expressed her gratitude towards mothers who decide to put their babies up for adoption, adding that they are “happy” to give Bear a new home, and encouraged her followers to share their own adoption stories.
Bear joins the couple’s biological daughter Violet (3,), and son Shackleton (2.)
