Eminem Drops Previously Unreleased Song

Never before released, Eminem drops ‘Everybody’s Looking At Me’ as part of the Stans: The Official Soundtrack for the rapper’s self-produced documentary of the same name.

Revisiting the raw energy of the rap legend’s The Eminem Show era and produced by longtime collaborator Dr. Dre, the track opens in blistering 2002 Funkmaster Flex freestyle.

Originally a shelved cut from his legendary LP, the track borrows elements from The Kiss (Skit), fueling speculation that it was originally intended for the 2002 release. Now 20+ years later, the full version comes complete with Dre’s signature production and Shady’s unfiltered commentary on fame, scrutiny, and the chaos of celebrity life.

Born Marshall Mathers, the musician’s uncovered single coincides with the premiere of the Stans documentary – currently streaming on Paramount+ – that explores the cultural impact of Eminem’s fanbase, the soundtrack to which blends iconic hits with deep cuts, including ‘Not Afraid’ and Stan featuring Dido.

Telling his story in his voice and through the eyes and ears of such famous Eminem fans including Ed Sheeran and Dr. Dre, the legendary rap artist admits his fear of death amid his struggles with addiction.

Amid his sudden rise to stardom in the early 2000s, the now 52-years-old Eminem became addicted to prescription pills, stating:

“I got into this vicious cycle of, ‘I’m depressed so I need more pills,’ and then your tolerance gets so high that you end up overdosing.” “I woke up in the hospital and I didn’t know what happened. I woke up in the hospital with tubes in me and s*** and I couldn’t get up, I wanted to move.” “After the overdose, I came home like I needed something … like, I’m gonna die if I don’t do anything.”
