During the early hours of Friday morning (5.15,) Drake surprised his fans by simultaneously releasing three albums Iceman, Habibti and Maid of Honor.
Featuring cameo performances by Future, Sexyy Red, Molly Santana, Loe Shimmy and 21 Savage, the collections are produced by Ovrkast, Riot, Boi-1da and DJ Frisco954.
On Iceman title track, Drake confirms that his 71-year old father, Dennis Graham is battling cancer, as he raps “My dad got cancer right now, we battlin’ stages. Trust me when I say there’s plenty things I’d rather be facing (For real)/And this time, ask me to dig deeper, I’ll gladly explain it.”
The Grammy award winner’s unexpected drop follows months of teasing through his chaotic Iceman livestream series, where he first hinted about releasing “back-to-back-to-back” LPs.
With appearances by Shane Gillis, DJ Akademiks, and even Drake’s son Adonis, the latest episode premiered several new videos filmed around Toronto.
Born Aubrey Drake Graham, the 39-year old kicked off this era in July of 2025 when he launched the original Iceman livestream and previewed early tracks like ‘What Did I Miss?’ and two more episodes followed including the singles ‘Which One’ with Central Cee and ”Dog House’ featuring July Wolf and Yeat.
Telling fans that the release date was inside, the biggest promotional moment came in April when Drake’s team put a 15′ high, 20′ long, and 15′ wide ice block tower in a car park in downtown Toronto with the Instagram message “Release Date Inside. 81 BOND STREET DOWNTOWN TORONTO (sic)”
Several signs near to the structure read: “Danger Do Not Touch. This ice structure may break or collapse without warning, and falling ice or sharp fragments may cause serious injury or death.” “Do not touch or interact with the structure. Any contact with the structure is at your own risk.”
Drake’s triple release marks the superstar’s first solo studio full length since 2023’s For All the Dogs.
