Taking to Instagram on Monday (12.29,) in a joint post Drew Taggart confirmed his marriage to Brazilian supermodel Marianne Fonseca.
Alongside a video of them dancing in their wedding attire on the beach at sunset, with two horses in the background, and Marianne jumping with her legs wrapped around Drew’s waist, The Chainsmokers‘ deejay/producer/artist shared the happy news with “WE ARE MARRIED!”
Several days prior to the festivities, the 36-year soon-to-be-bride revealed to her social media followers that they were getting married on December 28 in Costa Rica in a small ceremony without any bridesmaids or groomsmen.
In December 2024 interview Marianne said that she and Drew wanted to have an intimate wedding day, adding:
“We’re planning to keep it really small.” “I want it to feel very intimate, with just the people we truly love. I don’t want it to feel like ‘work’ to get married. I want to enjoy it and feel vulnerable with our closest loved ones.”
Now 35, Taggart started dating Finseca after meeting at an Oscars party in March of 2023, and he proposed to her at the Italian restaurant Giorgio Baldi in Los Angeles in December of 2024.
Alongside Alex Pall, Drew is one-half of the dance duo The Chainsmokers who are best known for such hits as ‘Closer,’ ‘Don’t Let Me Down,’ and the Coldplay collaboration ‘Something Just Like This.’
