It was in June of 2022, that the Korean outfit confirmed their hiatus in order for each member to complete their mandatory South Korean military service.
Jin, the oldest member of BTS was discharged from duty in June 2024, followed by J-Hope in October, RM and V in mid-June 2025, with Jimin, Jung Kook and Suga dismissed later that month. And it was while waiting for their fellow bandmates to complete their duties, that several BTS stars embarked on solo music projects.
Along with Suga, V and Jimin, the entire group got together to count down to the New Year on the Weverse platform.
