Celebrating the end of legal battles over her 13 year conservatorship, Britney Spears took to her Instagram to share her relief alongside a photo of a 2019 bottle of Norton Malbec, writing:
“Eventually you will come to understand that love heals everything and that is all there is.” “And REAL wine feels extremely nice as well!!! Psss first time with real wine Jesus f**king Christ!!!”
The embattled pop star’s latest post was revealed the same day she settled her conservatorship lawsuit versus her estranged father, Jamie Spears.
Though the conservatorship formally ended in 2021, Britney and her dad remained in a battle over the legal fees pertaining to the case and with each of attorneys confirming the news in separate statements, the matter was formally settled this week.
While the amount of settlement money will remain undisclosed according to court documents filed in the Los Angeles Superior Court on Thursday (4.25,) on Friday (4.27) Spears’ lawyer, Mathew Rosengart told Us magazine:
“It has been our honour and privilege to represent, protect and defend Britney Spears.” “Ms Spears is and always will be an icon and a brilliant and brave artist of historic and epic proportion.” “Although the conservatorship was terminated in November 2021, her wish for freedom is now truly complete.”
