Eight-time Grammy award winning musician Beck, whose “Loser” LP has become a Generation Z classic, stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live to recount his very own loser story.
While speaking with guest host Martin Short during Wednesday night’s (6.26) episode, the super]star singer/songwriter (born Bek David Campbell) recounted of a Grammy night mission in Hollywood as Paul McCartney’s wingman when the pair went in search of a party. Unfortunately, hoewever, the American and British musicians were bounced. “How V.I.P. do we gotta get,” two-time Rock And Roll Hall of Fame inducted, McCartney, was heard saying to the door staff.
Prior to his going on the road next month for his orchestral tour starting July 3 at Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery in Woodinville, WA., Beck performed “Paper Tiger” from his Sea Change LP backed by a full band and strings ensemble.
