With Halloween 2022 now a thing of the past, Mariah Carey took to social media with a predictable seasonal post.
The video clip from the self-proclaimed Queen of Christmas opens in black and white with Carey on a stationary bike, dressed as a witch and surrounded by jack o’lanterns and CG bats followed by a quick edit launch into Mariah’s winter wonderland as she squeals “It’s time,” and “All I Want for Christmas Is You.”
Considered by many to be undisputed Queen of Christmas, her 1994 “All I Want for Christmas Is You” has topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart several times throughout the years and is ranked as the most popular song of all time.
Carey will get into the winter holiday swing of things next month with a four-performance run celebrating her “repertoire of classic holiday songs.” Presented by Live Nation, her “Merry Christmas to All” dates will take place in December with performances in New York and Toronto.
