In a press statement about the the song and video, the artist states that he intended to spread “a much-needed message of hope…This song has a particular place in my heart. It’s all about believing in yourself, sticking together, and being courageous in the pursuit of your passion and mission”. According to Kravitz. “This is a message that Mark and I take very seriously. In the film, we wanted to highlight the beauty of the Bahamas while also attempting to portray the spirit of inspiration that is associated with the islands. Once I’m back on the road, I’d want to share it with you.”
Including prior hits “It’s Enough!,” “Low,” and “5 More Days ‘Til Summer,” “Raise Vibration” is the title track from Kravitz’s last album that was released in 2018 and while in the Bahamas during the COVID-19 epidemic working on new material, Lenny and David Ritz launched his book Let Love Rule.
