Launching the second North American leg of their BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’ BTS officially sold-out performances at MetLife Stadium on August 1 and August 2, 2026.
Attracting 157,000 fans throughout both nights, the New Jersey shows followed shortly after the K-Pop icons made history by headlining the first-ever FIFA World Cup Final Halftime Show.
The forthcoming leg of the trek follows a record-breaking European run where the Asian group performed across Madrid, Brussels, London, Munich, and Paris, drawing over 717,000 concertgoers and selling out ten consecutive stadium dates.
Performing new songs “SWIM,” “2.0,” “Hooligan,” and “Like Animals,” as well as their global hits such as “Butter” and “Dynamite,” the shows were built around the visual world of their fifth studio LP, ARIRANG and a massive 360-degree stadium production. Combining traditional Korean artistic concepts with modern stadium production, the show kicked off an extensive North American run that will visit Foxborough, Baltimore, Dallas, Toronto, Chicago, and Los Angeles in the coming weeks.
To compliment the arena shows, the 7-man band brought their immersive citywide project, ‘BTS THE CITY ARIRANG NEW YORK,’ to the metropolitan area by transforming NYC into an extension of the concert experience. The final American stop of the project features interactive fan hubs, landmark activations, and cultural programs across Manhattan through August 14, 2026.
Featuring light stick customization and stage outfits from their historic Wembley Stadium shows, BTS fans can visit ARMY ‘MADANG’ gathering spots at Grand Central Terminal and the Korean Cultural Center New York. Additional activations include a takeover of the Top of the Rock Observation Deck at Rockefeller Center, a Times Square Random Play Dance, and an Arte Museum New York exhibition. The citywide experience also features a Stamp Rally connecting local partner venues, with Bank of Hope donating one dollar per check-in at its Manhattan branch to support youth financial literacy programs.
