Performing “Pink Pony Club,” from The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess LP and her band new single, “The Giver,” Chappell Roan made her Saturday Night Live musical guest debut on November 2.
Rolling Stone‘s September cover artist, Roan recently completed her own Midwest Princess tour and had also been opening forOlivia Rodrigo at the first 24 shows of her fellow musician’s Guts world tour, with the two performing Roan’s hit song “Hot to Go!” in August.
The Missouri native’s second SNL song was the country-themed “The Giver,” from Chappell’s forthcoming full length, five tracks for which have been completed along with producer Dan Nigro.
In addition to the weekend’s musical guest, the latest Saturday Night Live episode opened with an unexpected cameo appearance by this year’s Presidential hopeful, Kamala Harris.
