Four decades since its original release, the timeless Whitney Houston anthem ‘I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me)’ has been reimagined.
Featuring multi-Platinum singer/songwriter Calum Scott, Capitol Records dropped the new duet version alongside Houston’s iconic vocals.
The first time the singer’s original performance has ever been used, the ballad-style symphonic rendition pays homage to the original composition’s emotional message in celebration of the 40th anniversary of Houston’s groundbreaking career.
As Calum Scott considered the project “a dream come true,” the Whitney Houston estate praised the release as a way to continue expanding the legendary singer’s music in authentic and innovative ways.
