Due to an “urgent family matter,” on Friday (9.01) Travis Barker rushed home from his Blink-182 tour, and the rockers to their Twitter/X account to confirm that a number of their forthcoming European shows have been postponed as their drummer deals with a family emergency.
“Due to an urgent family matter, Travis has had to return home to the States.” “The Glasgow, Belfast, and Dublin shows are being postponed. More information in regards to his return to Europe and rescheduled dates will be provided as soon as available” wrote the band. The musicians were scheduled to perform in Glasgow, Scotland on September 1/2 before heading to Belfast on September 4.
Though no specifics have been mentioned, the Blink-182 social media message comes after Barker posted a photo on Instagram of what appeared to be a prayer room and a banner that read, “Together we pray”.
Travis, 47, and his wife Kourtney Kardashian (now 44) are expecting their first child together and announced the news during a mid-June Blink-182 concert. Barker is also father to two children, Landon and Alabama, from his previous marriage.
The 93-date tour, also known as the Hard Rock Tour, began on 4 May in Minnesota.
