Following a string of successful collaborations featured in The Weeknd‘s massive 2020 After Hours album that birthed “Blinding Lights” and “Heartless”, the multi-Grammy Award winner just unveiled “Save Your Tears,” his latest rework featuring Ariana Grande.
Earlier this week and just days prior to the collabs formal release, both superstars took to Twitter to tease an eight-second audio snippet of their breathy, harmonized lyric “I don’t know why I run away.”
The “Save Your Tears” remix marks The Weeknd and Grande’s third collaboration over the course of seven years. Abel Tesfaye was previously featured on “off the table” that appeared on Grande’s 2020 No. 1 album Positions and “Love Me Harder” from her 2014 sophomore album My Everything, that peaked at No. 7 on the Hot 100.
