Posthumous Liam Payne Song Delayed

Originally scheduled for a Friday (10.01) release, Liam Payne‘s posthumous single will now be postponed.

Titled ‘Do No Wrong,’ Sam Pounds, the US musician who collaborated with the UK singer, had previously taken to social media with the hope that the track would “eclipse the negative echoes” of Payne’s passing.

In retrospect, Pounds decided to postpone the release until Liam’s family was ready to have the music available to the public, and taking to X he wrote:

“Today I’m deciding to hold Do No Wrong and leave those liberties up to all family members.” “I want all proceeds to go to a charity of their choosing (or however they desire). Even though we all love the song it’s not the time yet. We are all still mourning the passing of Liam and I want the family to mourn in peace and in prayer. We will all wait.”

Preceding his update, Sam shared an Instagram video clip of both he and Liam listening to the song together, with the caption “Yea I see the reports but I knew your heart. Filmed by @roo0990. @liampayne originally wanted us & @chrisbrownofficial on this. A musical moment & tribute to @liampayne.”

Earlier this month, Liam Payne died at the age of 31 after falling from the third floor of his hotel balcony in Buenos Aires.
