In sworn witness statements by two sex workers who joined Liam Payne hours hours prior to his passing, the women described his increasingly erratic behavior, the condition of his Buenos Aires hotel room, his alleged substance use, and the former One Direction member’s actions before leaving shortly before 4 pm.
After falling from the balcony of his third-floor room at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel, Payne died 67 minutes later,
According to the statements, Aldana Serrano and Lucila Goitea arrived at the CasaSur Palermo at approximately 11.30 am after the musician allegedly contacted Serrano through an escort website.
The women claimed the 31-year old ordered champagne for them along with two bottles of Johnnie Walker Black Label whisky for himself. Goitea also alleged that they observed him handling illicit substances, adding:
“We saw that he was doing something like crystal meth with bits of tinfoil.” “There was tinfoil everywhere with traces of drugs. A drawer was full of it, there was more burned tinfoil on the couch, a lot of clothes thrown around, he smelled of alcohol.”
After about two hours in his presence, and asking Payne for the money he had promised them, the artist reportedly offered them his gold Rolex, but the women said they wanted to be paid with cash. According to their statements, the singer subsequently smashed the watch and punched the television in his room.
After the women left, Payne fell to his death at 5:07 pm.
Investigators ultimately determined that the singer was likely in a state of semi or total unconsciousness when he fell due to the combination of substances in his system.
