Nicki Minaj has prevailed in a lawsuit against a blogger who claimed the musician was taking illegal drugs.
In court documents obtained by TMZ, the settlement calls for Marley Green (aka social media persona Nosey Heaux) to issue a formal apology for her false statements about Minaj being a “cokehead”.
After she posted the defamatory video, it was TMZ that initially broke the story that the superstar rapper/writer had sued Green in September 2022.
According to the settlement, the blogger has acknowledged that everything she said about the internationally acclaimed musician using or abusing cocaine was false and that she never had any evidence, whatsoever, of Minaj using or abusing cocaine or any other drug.
Additionally, in her lawsuit Minaj claimed that the Green made “vile” comments about the son she shares with husband Kenneth Petty.
In the settlement, Marley Green agreed to never mention Petty or Minaj’s son ever again, or say anything more about Nicki and cocaine and that she cannot repost any comments about Minaj doing anything illegal or unethical.
Should Green breach the agreement, she is obliged to pay Minaj $50,000 per offense.
