Looking toward the future, NSYNC-member JC Chasez has hinted that his boyband reunion may be in the cards.
Along with Justin Timberlake, Lance Bass, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick, Chasez and his crew briefly reunited in 2023, and the Maryland-born member revealed that there may be more in store.
During his LadyGang podcast interview, JC told Keltie Knight “I will say this,” “I’m not trying to gaslight, I’m not trying to do any of that nonsense. But we are talking more than we’ve ever talked about it.”
The now 48-year old Chasez added that the group, who released Celebrity, their last studio album more than to decades ago, would have to produce some new music that would need to be balanced with a healthy dose of NSYNC classics.
“Look, everybody wants to go see the Rolling Stones.” “They’ve been doing it forever, but you still want to hear Satisfaction. I want to give the people what they want, I do,” he said.
In June, fellow bandmate Fatone weighed in on the possibility of the band going on tour as a quintet, noting how different their lives are now than in the early ’00s, telling E! News:
“We’re married, we have kids.” “The thing is, for me, do we want to do it? Everybody’s older, everybody has different personalities now. How do we deal with that? I’m not saying that it’s bad. It’s just a matter of making it cohesive.”
