Coming as a guest of Fox News, Nicki Minaj will be attending this weekend’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner in Washington, DC, at the Washington Hilton.
Before the event, the superstar rapper/writer will also attend the network’s VIP cocktail party.
Having publicly embracing the MAGA movement, the musician has became more outspoken about her politics when, in January, she attended Trump Accounts Launch Summit in Washington, DC, where she shoot hands with the controversial President of the United States.
Admitting that her support was fueled by seeing how Trump was treated by the public, the 43-year old described it as a “calling” to combat the backlash and “smear campaigns” against him.
Hosted by the White House Correspondents’ Association (WHCA,) the evening event is an annual, high-profile, black-tie event often dubbed “the nerd prom”, as it brings together journalists, politicians, and celebrities to celebrate journalism, raise funds for scholarships, and hear comedy performances.
After a more than decade-long boycott, Donald Trump is scheduled to return to this year’s dinner.
The parties surrounding the main event will include those hosted by Vanity Fair’s new editor, Mark Guiducci, Fantastic Four star Michael Chiklis, YouTube, and LGBTQ dating app Grindr.
