Word has it that Nick Jonas is working on the follow up to his his 2021 debut solo LP, Spaceman.
According to a reliable source, the now 33-year-old superstar singer/songwriter/actor is back in the studio working on new music between the Jonas Brothers 20th anniversary trek, 20: Greetings from Your Hometown Tour.
Nick and his record label are hopeful that a new record could arrive within the next year, and in a statement to England’s The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column:
“Nick has loved the Jonas Brothers tour. It’s helped him get his confidence back as a solo artist.” “He’s already back writing and recording in the studio.” “Rather than [it] just being a bit of fun, there is a creative vision for the project.”
The youngest Jonas brother previously stated he always plays his new music to his wife, actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas, first, as her opinion matters most, and in an interview with GQ Hype, he said:
“She’s the first person I play stuff for. Her input and opinions mean a lot to me, especially when it’s something so directly tied to our experience and our relationship. She loved it, which was great.” “It’s important to have that natural dialogue. If there was something she was working on that I didn’t feel was 100 per cent what it could be, and vice versa, we would share that with each other out of love and respect for one another.”
