After Ne-Yo shared a photo of himself with influencer Arielle Hill and two Only Fans models who go by Phoenixx Feather and Bella, the superstar singer/dancer responded to criticism concerning his polyamorous lifestyle.
Taking to Instagram, the musician (born Shaffer Chimere Smith) wrote “US vs. …NOBODY. You can’t compete where you can’t compare. #PolyAndFly.” And on Thursday (2.20) he returned to the platform to mock some of the responses he received, writing “Them: ‘NEYO WE DON’T APPROVE OF YOUR POLY RELATIONSHIP,” adding “Fun fact: I don’t care.”
In 2023, after seven years of marriage, the now 45-year old talent finalized his divorce from ex-wife Crystal Renay with whom he shares three children. Ne-Yo is also the father to two children from his former relationship with ex-girlfriend Monyetta Shaw.
During his November 2024 appearance on Lemon Drop The Show, Ne-Yo claimed monogamy was “not for me” explaining “I am not s**tting on marriage.” “I’m not s**tting on anyone who has figured out how to make that thing work for them. Again, everything’s not for everybody.”
