On Saturday afternoon, rappers Lucki and Playboi Carti were involved in a Los Angeles brawl during ComplexCon.
According to local news reports, multiple victims had been stabbed in the car park, including Lucki who appeared to have suffered an injury to his face and neck.
LA Law enforcement sources told TMZ that the 30-year old musician was in the parking lot around 4.40 pm on October 3 and surrounded by fans wanting photos when an unknown suspect hit him in the side of the face, causing a laceration.
An additional victim was seen being stabbed, and Los Angeles police then located two additional victims, withTMZ reporting that of the four victims, three are in stable condition, and one transported themselves to hospital.
In what has since become a viral video, after being attacked Lucki got in the front seat of a car with a wound on his neck, before being encouraged to move to the back seat as he held his bloody face.
In another video, Plaoyboi Carti can be seen looking over at the altercation from his car window.
While no arrests have yet been made, he LAPD is investigating the incident as an attempted murder.
ComplexCon is an annual festival and exhibition that brings together streetwear, sneaker culture, pop art, live music, food and design, and representatives for the event told People magazine that the incident had occurred “on the public street outside the event,” adding We take incidents of this nature extremely seriously and remain focused on maintaining a safe and secure environment for everyone attending ComplexCon.”
Dating back to September of 2024, Lucki and Carti have a history of online tension.
