In support of the final track from her 2021 album, Solar Power, Lorde relaxes into her new music video for “Oceanic Feeling.”
Co-directed by the New Zealand-native (born Ella Marija Lani Yelich-O’Connor), and Jeol Kefali, much of the mini-movie features shots of Lorde and a young man enjoying a quiet day together before the artist assumes a messianic-type role in front of a quiet crowd, walks out to a small boat, and begins to row away from the shore.
In support of her latest LP (in collaboration with Jack Antonoff,) Lorde has a handful of North American tour dates remaining including festival sets at Primavera Sound in Los Angeles, Life is Beautiful in Las Vegas, and All Things Go in Columbia, Maryland. And before heading back home to New Zealand and Australia in 2023, she’ll play a run of shows in Mexico and South America this fall.
