In response to allegedly carrying a concealed weapon without a permit, Lil Baby was arrested in Las Vegas, Nevada
After he was “seen on video being passed a gun at a club” on Monday night (8.26,) on Tuesday (8.27) editors at TMZ reported that the Atlanta rapper (born Dominique Jones) had been arrested and was taken into custody at the Clark County Detention Center.
Insisting that the musician held a valid permit for carrying a concealed weapon (CCW) in his native state of Georgia, Lil Baby’s attorneys issued the following statement:
“To be clear, Dominique Jones has a valid Georgia carrying a concealed weapon (CCW) permit.” “On his behalf we are actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding his arrest in Las Vegas.”
Now 29-years old, Lil Baby has yet to be formally charged with a crime, was released from custody, and, according to The Associated Press, he is due to appear in a Las Vegas court on October 1.
Following the release of his 2018 debut album Harder Than Ever, that featured the single ‘Yes.’ Indeed.Lil Baby rose to prominence.
