To usher in the autumn season, on Saturday (9.23), Lenny Kravitz made his TikTok debut by revisiting his giant scarf.
“Grab your big scarf, it’s the first day of fall,” says Kravitz while wearing the oversized brown neckwear, during his inaugural five-second TikTok clip.
In 2012, the now 59-year old superstar singer/songwriter was photographed by paparazzi while wearing the mega-sized wrap while doing chores in New York City.
While visiting The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in 2018, Kravitz joked about his viral meme status stating. “I cannot escape this,” the always fashionable singer said. “I live in the Bahamas. I’m used to hot weather and I had to go to the grocery store. I was buying some groceries and I thought I’d put on a little scarf to protect my throat and that’s the scarf I had.”
At the time Fallon showed a picture of Kravitz wearing the controversial scarf and said, “But Lenny, this is not a scarf, this is a blanket.” at which time the singer added, “That was the day I thought I would break it out, and I had no idea that there would be paparazzi and that is now everything.”
