On Thursday (7.20,) and for no apparent reason, Lana Del Rey worked a shift at a Waffle House in Alabama.
The 38-year-old superstar singer/songwriter was spotted in a Waffle House uniform and serving customers while wearing a black miniskirt and the signature blue Waffle House shirt, along with her own name tag.
Sporting hoop earrings and a casual hairdo, Del Ray was filmed by a fan as she was making coffee and also telling someone to be careful while filming inside the restaurant.
“Oh look at this guy! Oh god, Charlie don’t film him without his permission,” said Lana in the clip.
Sharing her experience and a photo with Lana was Alabama local Karina Cisneros Juarez who took to her facebook profile with:
“To say I am ecstatic is an understatement!!!” “I have been a huuuge fan of Lana Del Rey for over a decade, so meeting her today was truly insane (sic).”
To date, the musician has yet to share the reason for her Waffle House work day.
