On Thursday (9.19,) Kylie Minogue took to social media to announce her 2025 tour along with her forthcoming album and new single.
On Instagram, the superstar Aussie confirmed the preparation of Tension II, her 17th studio album, due our 18 October: “LOVERS …. TENSION II … The sequel with NINE new tracks will be yours on October 18th!”
The now 56-year-old chanteuse also announced that ‘Lights, Camera, Action,’ the lead single from the forthcoming album, will be drop on September 27.
Tension II is the nine-track follow-up full length to Minogue’s Tension LP was was released in September of 2023 that contained her singles ‘Padam Padam’ and ‘Things We Do for Love.’
In a separate social media post, Kylie confirmed that she’ll embark on The Tension Tour early next year: “TENSION TOUR. You have no idea how hard it has been to keep all the planning and preparation from you. But it’s time and I. CAN’T. WAIT!”
Minogue will launch her 2025 trek on February 15 in Perth, Australia followed by a series of shows in her native country before heading to Asia, where she will perform in Bangkok, Tokyo, Kaoshiung and Manila.
In May, Kylie Minogue will play a string of shows in the United Kingdom starting in Glasgow on May 16 followed by gigs in Manchester, London, Liverpool and Birmingham before closing out the tour in Birmingham on May 31.
