Kenny Loggins Criticizes Trump For Using ‘Danger Zone’

In response to the President of the United States using ‘Danger Zone’ in a bizarre AI video posted on social media, Kenny Loggins has criticized Donald Trump.

Featuring the American leader sitting in a fighter jet and bombing No Kings protesters with gallons of sewage, it was over the weekend that a 19-second clip was uploaded to the Truth Social platform.

In a formal statement to Variety on Monday (10.20,) Loggins blasted Trump for using his 1986 Top Gun soundtrack single ‘Danger Zone’ stating:

“This is an unauthorized use of my performance of Danger Zone.” “Nobody asked me for my permission, which I would have denied, and I request that my recording on this video is removed immediately.”

Expressing disappointment that his music was being associated with a topic that has divided the American people, the 77-year old Grammy award winner added:

“Too many people are trying to tear us apart, and we need to find new ways to come together.” “We’re all Americans, and we’re all patriotic. There is no ‘us and them’ – that’s not who we are, nor is it what we should be. It’s all of us. We’re in this together, and it is my hope that we can embrace music as a way of celebrating and uniting each and every one of us.”

In response to several controversial policies enacted by Trump and his administration, the No Kings protests are a series of demonstrations held primarily in the United States, the most recent of which took place on October 18 in Washington D.C., Los Angeles, and New York City.

A representative for the White House declined to comment on the video.
