On Thursday night (2.29,) Karol G‘s private plane was forced to make an emergency landing after the pilot noticed smoke in the cockpit.
Local media outlet ABC7 confirmed that at approximately 9pm local time the Colombian singer’s aircraft made an unexpected landing at Van Nuys Airport in Los Angeles.
According to reports, the private plane, which took off from Hollywood’s Burbank Airport, was carrying 16 passengers, including the superstar singer, born Carolina Navarro.
In photos released by ABC7, the now 33-year-old Latin chanteuse was spotted leaving the plane before embracing one of her fellow passengers on the tarmac, with several emergency vehicles spotted near the plane.
Though the Grammy-winning Reggaeton singer has yet to issue a statement about the incident, the emergency landing comes shortly after the Provenza hitmaker wrapped up a string of shows in Mexico as part of her Mañana Será Bonito tour of Latin America.
