With the release of ‘Message to the World (Little Drummer Girl)’ JoJo Siwa is ringing in the winter holiday season!
Marking the now 22-year-old’s first holiday release in half-a-decade, the heartwarming track provides a fresh take on the seasonal heartfelt anthem built around themes of kindness, unity, and reassurance … reminding listeners that “you are not alone.”
Addressing the inspiration behind the re-imagined classic, Siwa said “I’ve been reconnecting with the mindset I had when I first started — making choices that were fun and true to me. That’s what this new music is about. I wanted to create a song about a few things I absolutely love: the holidays, drumming, and making the world smile.”
In addition to it’s available on all major streaming platforms, JoJo performed ‘Message to the World (Little Drummer Girl)’ on November 28 during Black Friday at the Mall of America as part of the shopping centre’s festive kick-off event that comes on the heels of her sold-out Infinity Heart European tour in Dublin, Glasgow, Manchester, Newcastle, London, Brighton, Cardiff, Paris, Cologne, and Warsaw.
Siwa’s yuletide drop tops off a busy 2024 with the release her debut EP Guilty Pleasure, including ‘Karma’ that secured 50,000,000+ plays along with her UK iTunes chart-topping cover of ‘Bette Davis Eyes,’ ‘Raspy,’ and ‘Infinity Heart.’
In 2020, Siwa released JoJo’s Rockin’ Christmas EP that featured ‘Run Run Rudolph,’ ‘Santa Claus Is Coming to Town,’ ‘Where Are You Christmas?,’and ‘It’s Christmas Now!.’
