Taking to social media, Halsey has given her fans an update concerning her endometriosis diagnosis.
Now 29, the superstar singer/songwriter used her Instagram stories account to show a photo of her stomach. Covered in bandages, and wearing pink and white pajamas and a pair of absorbency briefs (commonly given out to post-surgery patients surgery,) the musician wrote “Back in diapers.” “But at least they have little bows.” And praising OBGYN, Dr. Thai¨s Aliabadi, Haldey added “unparalleled care and brilliance.”
In 2018, the self-professed “endo-warrior” (born Ashley Nicolette Frangipane,) talked about being diagnosed with endometriosis, and suffering a miscarriage shortly after being diagnosed.
“Before I could even really figure out what that meant to me and what that meant for my future, for my career, for my life, for my relationship,” she said. “The next thing I know I was onstage miscarrying in the middle of my concert.”
She now has a two-year-old son, Ender, with ex-partner Alev Aydin.
