Like several unpredictable pop up stops – from Boston recitals to Nashville pubs – on Saturday (8.12,) Ed Sheeran performed his “Lego House” outside a Lego Store in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
In between gigs this past weekend, the self-proclaimed bricklayer visited the massive Mall of America, donned a yellow Lego apron and got to work at the Lego Store.
To the astonishment of shoppers, following his ‘work’ shift where he helped consumers pick out mini-figures, the superstar singer/songwriter strapped on his acoustic guitar and performed his 2011 hit single “Lego House” outside the house of Lego.
Currently on the road with his The Mathematics Tour and Subtract Tour, the British wünderkind musician is playing arena-sized and theater-sized venues throughout North America, wrapping up the trek at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium on September 23.
