Don Diablo Sells World’s First NFT Concert For $1.2 Million

With non-fungible tokens all the rage, such social media content has ventured into full-on concert sales with Don Diablo’s Destination Hexagonia NFT performance hitting the blockchain market this past weekend and selling for a jaw-dropping $1.2 million within four minutes.

A project he embarked on just last year, Diablo describes Destination Hexagonia as “a next level sci-fi animated live concert experience.” The hour-long show film breaks records as the world’s first full-length concert NFT and the transaction smashes SuperRare‘s record for any single item NFT sale.

For $1,259,280, the purchaser of the show will receive a hand-crafted box containing a physical hard drive with the only existing copy of the virtual concert experience. The sale follows up Don Diablo’s debut Genesis NFT drop which sold last month for $200,000.

Have a look-see at the teaser for the $1.2 million concert.
